The Virtual Campus platform of the Central University of Venezuela, CV-UCV, allows teachers to customize the virtual learning environment according to the needs of students. In this sense, an experience on the design and implementation of an accessible virtual course is shown. This teaching practice favored the achievement of an accessible virtual learning aimed at people with disabilities of total or partial limitation of the vision by offering didactic means and accessibility guides with the purpose of distributing the content and information. The experience was valued from the perspective of the students. It is concluded that didactic planning in virtual learning environments should incorporate elements that facilitate accessibility to all students, regardless of their ability.
