This paper shows the last novelties of Digital Folder platformthat has evolved to contain a restricted PLE. This tool is an e-portfolio generator for been used with a student-centred methodology (with formal and informal learning) and guided by teacher. The new functions, added recently, allow the development of meta-competences oriented to self-regulation learning in an academic context. This design, implemented and in work, is the first phase of the project "Diseño de un entorno mixto e-portfolio/PLE centrado en el desarrollo de competencias transversales" (EDU2012-37897), funded by Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad (Government of Spain).
