A meta-analysis about Flipped Classroom methodology in Primary Education classroom

Abstract

The following research presents a meta-analysis of 25 studies in which Flipped Classroom methodoly was used in Primary Education.  For this purpose, several national and international databases were used. The results suggest that the most used format is the articles of scientific journals; United States and Spain are the countries that publish the most, based on the established criteria; the subject in which this metholodogy is most applied in in mathematics; the most analyzed construct is the academic performance and the most used tecniques are the Pre/post test and the participant observation. The limitation of studies in Primary Education is appreciated. Considering the results, future researches and recommendations are discussed.
