In this study, we analyze the places and spaces in which a sample of Spanish and Latin American university students make an educative use of mobile digital devices. The research methodology is quantitative and is developed through factor analysis. The results show that the educational use of mobile digital devices is concentrated within the university campus; mainly in the cafeteria and corridors of the faculty, in the classrooms and in the library. To a lesser extent, they are also used outside the university campus in the transport, the outdoor leisure areas, the habitual residence, the workplace and the street.
