Abstract

This work investigates the use of the Flipped Classroom methodology in Mathematics at 3rd of Secondary Education (ESO). The work analyses if its use improves the students' academic assessments and their attitudes on the acquisition of mathematical knowledge compared to the use of classical methodology or lecture. The investigation has worked with two kinds of 3rd ESO student groups, one using the lecture methodology and the other using Flipped Classroom. The results reveal that the group that used the Flipped Classroom methodology increased by a 20% their academic results, and that the working environment and the students' attitude was improved too.
