Abstract

This  article  aims  to  identify  the  level  of teachers' knowledge  onICTat  the Multidisciplinary Regional  Faculty of Carazo  (UNAN-Managua)  and  prioritize the teachers' most  relevant  digital training  needs.  The  study  is  approached  from  a  quantitativemethodological  approach  and  a questionnaire adaptation is performed taking into account the research on ICT skills developed by the Spanish Public University. The results show that teachers require and demand higher training in three dimensions: strengthen knowledge associated with ICT and its role in the new context of higher education, arbitrate mechanisms for advanced searches and selection of information on the Web and increased knowledge and use of educational applications of Web 2.0.
