The purpose of this paper is to show the development of Support Units for Learning (UAPAs) based on the Merrill instructional design model (2002) and the Pintrich Self-Regulation model (2000) for the content. The Motivation and Learning Strategies Questionnaire of Ramírez, et al. (2013) was taken as a base and a documentary search was carried out for the development of a rubric. Seven UAPAs were obtained, which are being used in psychoeducational counseling. Likewise, 41 criteria were obtained from the analysis of the literature for the rubric. It is concluded that it is necessary to work on the content validity of the rubric criteria to evaluate the UAPAs.
