Abstract:
The boom which is taking place in the world of hypermedia technology (hypertext and multimedia), as regards both hardware and software, is arising a great interest in the use of applications for education. Within this environment, researchers, teachers, students... may place themselves as mere users navigating through an already developed application, or as generators of their own applications. In both cases, almost regardless of the tool we use, we may agree that the real importance and quality of an application is necessarily provided by adequate script and way in which the information is structured. In our class, during the students training process on the topics involved, we think that we should adopt hypermedia methodologies and teach our students, on the one hand, how to navigate, in an intelligent way, across the forests of information, and, on the other hand, how to build up expert outlines on the topics involved.
Bearing this in mind, our proposal shall be a knowledge-based integrated representation system witch would facilitate the macroscopic creation of expert knowledge scripts for multimedia applications.

Abstract:
The main goal of this presentation is to describe the project about the development of a multimedia program for the university. The program "Learning and Education" is a multimedia system that contains the main theories of learning. In the first phase, the program will contain the "classical" theories of learning (behaviourist) and, later, it will be completed by the constructivism and cognitivism approach.
The program contains four independent modules: 1) Learning. It is a tutorial about the main concepts of the theories and authors. 2) Consulting, that provides bibliography about the different theories and authors, 3) Evaluation. It is a multiple choice test to evaluate the knowledge acquire for the user and 4) Activities. In this module, different activities are suggested to the user in order to apply the knowledge of the different theories.

Abstract:
Introduction of a hipertextual didactic unity in a "Modern History" subject, "Welfare State", didactic complement to follow the lesson. In this introduction we show the Antonio Rguez. de las Heras´ hipertextual philosophy, that we can resume as a idea about hipertext not only as a diferent way to organise information, also making use of a new space of communication, the screen, that it needs new writing codes. In the other hand, this communication also talks about the posibilities of mutimedia in education: the progressive digitalization of information improves a essential point of communication: interactivity. With this, we stimulate the pupil apprenticeship, getting at the same time an alternative in the actual teaching trough concepts like simulation or teaching in not real space and time. Finally, we show, after our experience, the problems to get the best diffusion of NN.TT. of information in education: standardizing and the knowledges lack in the new supports.

Abstract:
In this paper we want to expose an interactive material based on the hypermedia conceptions (flexibility, accessibility, interactivity, no-lineal structure of contents…). It is for the study of the Prehistory of Balearic Islands in a open learning model.

Abstract:
The main objective of this paper has been to make easy the training period of the students related with topics that intersect with different subjects from his curriculum in the computer science studies, Technician and Higher, e.g. recursivity, dynamic memory allocation, etc.
From a satisfactory previous experience, by means of a tutorial based on multimedia about programming topics, we took a special interest on improve the navegation through the tutorial and also, in the evaluation technics of the topics introduced, designing and developing a new arquitecture based on the "client/server" philosophy from Microsoft Windows environment.

Abstract
The increment experienced by the Environmental Education in the Balearic Islands in the last years has generated the creation of great quantity and variety of resources related to this subject and, at the same time, a strong increment of the demand. This phenomena has carried us to consider the need of creating an instrument that picks up and systematizes information about Environmental Education resources and, given the tourist character of our economy, about Heritage Interpretation. The data base MEDI tries to cover this need and to facilitate the task of teachers and other people interested in this field.

Abstract:
The Guide of Education and Formation in the Balearic Islands, constitutes a flexible instrument that, on the one hand adapts itself to the interest and necessities of each user, and on the other it is easy to update. The finality of this guide consits of presenting the formative possibilities that can be fulfilled in the Balearic Islands, and also outside of it. It is important to remark the possibiliy to keep updating the information, with minimum expenses, as changes take place in the formative offer in the Balearic Islands. The guide follows the design principles of the Microsoft FoxPro 2.6.
