Abstract

This research aims to describe the design and implementation of a methodological change in the subject of Physics and Chemistry in 3rd of ESO, with the aim of motivating students and achieving an improvement in their academic performance. The methodological change is based on the use of gamification, through the Classcraft platform, and the use of the constructivist model of the BSCS 5E Instructional Model, which offers the educational material Science Bits.

Based on the results obtained, the research shows that the use of gamification, as an educational resource, motivates students in the development of their tasks, and the 5E model favors the consolidation of contents in the scientific field, achieving In this way, a competent student in the different dimensions.
